Small Hours
A short collection on the quiet, nocturnal kind of thinking.
Sample brief: Original poetry sample.
Small Hours
The house keeps a different clock past midnight, one that measures nothing in minutes. The kettle takes longer to boil. The silence takes longer to fill.
I have made peace with three things at this hour: the floorboard that always speaks first, the streetlight that never quite turns off, and the thoughts that only visit when nobody else is awake to interrupt them.
